  • KNLA soldiers in a military camp on the frontline with the SPDC. .With its 6 brigades, KNLA keeps the military control of the Karen State. In January 2012, the KNU and the Burma Government reached an agreement on a ceasefire. The agreement is based on 6 points, including the resettlement in the Karen State of a part of the IDPs.
